Before you start

Preconditions

This course is intended inviduals, teachers and administrative staff of Maghreb universities.


About this course

The aim of this course is to provide faculty and administrative staff of Maghreb Universities with the knowledge, skills and attitudes required to support entrepreneurship building in their institutions, in accordance with the Yabda Institutional Strategies.

The training objectives of the course are:

  1. to familiarize academic and administrative staff to entrepreneurship principles, teaching and support, thus build their capacity as entrepreneurship trainers;
  2. to allow entrepreneurship trainers to support and present entrepreneurial and innovation-focused ideas, solutions and recommendations to their local settings;
  3. to create a sustainable network of entrepreneurship trainers that will support the intra-university Yabda network,
  4. to explore possibilities for widening the Yabda extra-university network with society and the market.

What you will learn

By the end of the training pariticipants will be able to:

  1. Characterize the pillars of entrepreneurship: the entrepreneur, the project, the context, and the entrepreneurial ecosystem. It arouses interest in entrepreneurship and develops the intention to undertake
  2. Demystify your market through a strategic analysis of the environment. It emphasizes the key components/actors to be studied, as well as the corresponding tools to be mobilized
  3. Focus on the methods of obtaining these financial resources in general and on the methods of financing dedicated to innovative projects specifically
  4. Present the different parts of the financial study, namely the initial financing plan, the provisional income statement, the financing plan as well as the main profitability indicators
  5. Become familiar with the key stages in the maturation of an innovative project. Present the fundamentals of project and team management, and the knowledge acquisition process
  6. Se familiariser avec un aspect essentiel en matière de valorisation d’une technologie et/ou recherche dédié(s) au développement d’une entreprise : la propriété intellectuelle
  7. Understand the contribution of IT tools and techniques in the value chain.
  8. Acquire the fundamentals of Design which allows project leaders to gradually make crucial decisions for their innovative company

Yassine AYDI

Assistant professor

Αssistant professor in Computer Science, I obtained my PhD in Computer Engineering and Research Master degrees from the National School of Engineers of Sfax, Tunisia in 2007 and 2011, respectively. In addition, I received the engineering degree from the National School of Engineering in Monastir, Tunisia in 1994. My research interests include co-design, on-chip network design and formal verification, computation parallel, human-computer interaction, interaction design. I am currently teaching researcher at the Higher Institute of Arts and Crafts (University of Sfax). I taught interconnection networks, embedded systems, electronic government, computer architecture and open data. Since 2017, I teach human-computer interaction, the design of interactions and the construction of interactive systems using immersive environments. I have supervised several master's theses (8 students), engineering degree projects (3 students), and I co-supervise doctoral theses (5 students). I have participated as a speaker in national and international seminars, conferences and workshops. and I have several publications in national and international journals. Moreover, I piloted many national and international projects (ENPI, Eramus, PAQ). and I co-supervise doctoral theses (5 students). Salma Borchani Sellami

Holder of a Doctorate in Management Sciences specializing in Strategic Management from the University of Paris 12, a Diploma of Advanced Studies and a Master's degree from the Faculty of Economics Management of Sfax in Management and Internationalization of Economies and in finance. 20 years of experience, she has been in charge of several Bachelor courses (management principles, human resources management, internal communication, entrepreneurship, etc.) and the preparatory cycle of accounting review and professional masters (management policy and strategy). business, research seminars, qualitative data processing technique with Nvivo software, advice and assistance for business creation, ethics and corporate social responsibility). Doctor of Management Sciences (Finance). Assistant professor at the Institute of Higher Commercial Studies of Sfax (IHEC de Sfax) with 23 years of experience in higher education. She has been responsible for various undergraduate courses (financial mathematics, financial diagnosis, cash management, portfolio management ...), in professional and research masters (financial information, in-depth financial analysis, Islamic finance, investment funds ...). Participated in the setting up and implementation of a project financed by the fund (Souk Attanmia 1) allocated by the African Development Bank (AfDB) and accompanied the promoter of this project in all its stages of implementation. Conducted research on the performance of Tunisian banks and developing countries, on parametric and non-parametric frontier methods and on Islamic finance.
